We aim to hold stocks of all lines illustrated on our website and aim to dispatch goods within 48 hours of receiving an order. However, at times of exceptional demand, delivery time may be extended. Francis Campbell Ltd will not be liable for any loss caused to you by late delivery.


Every effort will be made to maintain the prices shown on the Website.

All products and services are subject to availability. However, we reserve the right to discontinue any item from those shown and to amend prices when necessary including after you have placed your order.

Order Confirmation

As soon as an order has been placed an email will be generated and sent to the customer confirming the order.  The email will also contain a VAT invoice attached as a PDF.  Each order will have a unique order reference number – this must be used when making enquiries regarding an order.


Prices listed in our online store include Value Added Tax, where this is applicable.

Returned Goods

For all returns you must contact Electric Fencing Direct first and get returns authorisation form from us.  Failure to do so could slow up the processing of your return.

Returns: Non Faulty

If you find the goods unsuitable or you are not totally satisfied, providing you notify us within 8 working days from receipt of the goods and return to us in A1 condition, unused and in the original packaging you will be entitled to an exchange or refund of the full purchase cost excluding carriage and minus a 30% handling fee. You will be required to arrange and pay for the return which should be well packed and clearly labeled.
You must obtain a certificate of postage with adequate insurance from the Post Office/Courier, to enable you to make a claim for any loss or damage, as we are unable to compensate for return parcels that are lost or damaged in transit.

Returns: Faulty Goods

Faulty goods should be returned to us in a clean condition. We will evaluate the fault, and replace, repair or refund including carriage at our discretion. Please note that some products must be sent to the manufacturers for evaluation. We will make every effort to ensure that product complaints are dealt with efficiently, but cannot be held responsible for delays caused in transit etc.

Credit Card Security

Credit Card security is provided through Sage Pay and SEC Pay/Paypoint. To ensure the security of credit card transactions, we use utilize Secure Socket Layer technology. All transactions are encrypted to SSL 128bit, using Thawte digital certificate technology.

Francis Campbell Ltd take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorized access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from us.

Damaged or Undelivered Goods

Please check the condition of your parcel on delivery prior to signing for acceptance. In the event that goods are missing or damaged on arrival please specify against your signature and inform us immediately, within 3 working days, otherwise no claim can be considered.

Data Privacy

We will not and do not supply any of your details to any third party at all. The privacy of your personal information is very important to us. From time to time we may send you e-mail notifications on promotions from Francis Campbell Ltd. In all e-mails you will be given the option to be removed from our mailing list. You will not be sent future correspondence unless you request to be added to our mailing list at a later date. We will not pass any of your details to third parties unless required to do so as part of the order verification process or if required to do so by UK governing law.

As a statement these Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
